A weight distribution hitch is a “load-leveling” hitch that uses spring bars/chains under tension to distribute a trailer’s weight from the towing vehicle’s rear axle to the towing vehicle’s front axle and to the trailer’s axle(s). They help reduce trailer sway and help for a smoother ride.

Final Take - While the Round Bar system is at a more economical price the Trunnion style offers better ground clearance which can be handy parking your trailer! There are also no add on’s on the Trunnion style which need to be taken off while reversing.
Install takes 45 minutes ($97 in our shop).
